Tomas was born into a family of musicians and was drawn to music early, receiving his first music lessons at the age of four from his father, Antanas Milerius, who was a Principal clarinetist with the Klaipeda State Symphony Orchestra in Lithuania.

Upon graduating from his father's class, he moved to Paris, France, where he studied with Patrick Messina and Pierre Genisson, and later with Benjamin Dieltjens in Brussels, Belgium. Currently, the clarinetist is pursuing his education at The Manhattan School of Music under Charles Neidich.

Tomas is a winner of many international competitions, including the Silverstein Clarinet Contest 2022, Glasgow Clarinet Competition 2018, and most recently, he received the Grand Prize at the International American Single Reed Clarinet Competition 2022. Following this achievement, he signed with Royal Global USA, an instrument manufacturer, and became their Artist.

Tomas has performed in Sweden, Lithuania, Austria, Romania, Germany, Belgium, France, the United States, the United Kingdom, the United Arab Emirates, and Italy. He has graced prestigious halls such as Queen Elisabeth Hall in Belgium, Salle Cortot in France, Etihad Museum in the UAE, and most recently made his solo debut at the renowned Wiener Musikverein, performing with the Vienna City Chamber Orchestra.

“I was struck by the passion and dramatic personality of his performance and by the subtle control he has over the clarinet.”
